CNC-Grinder
Description
GSE Carbide has an open spot in its team as a CNC-Grinder. This team provides its customers with supply and grinding services of carbide rods, products and preforms. These find their way across Europe on a daily basis.
Experience with milling and/or turning is ideal in this role. As a CNC-Grinder, you will read and interpret technical drawings. You will also be responsible for independently programming and operating one or more CNC grinding machines. You will get to know our machines and software. You will start here with an induction period, after which you will independently programme the CNC machines with the associated software. You will also learn to clamp products independently. You will work in a clean, safe, orderly and new grinding shop on changing jobs with small tolerances. You will grind pre-formed carbide products based on customer specifications.
Your tasks
- You will produce pre-form carbide products using multi-axis CNC grinding machines;
- You will operate machines, adjust them and write programmes;
- Technical insight (able to independently read and interpret drawings);
- Product inspection and measuring with hand tools and measuring machine;
- Helping to improve new products
Your profile
You work accurately, carefully and independently. You are flexible and very results-oriented. A completed education in the direction of mechanical engineering, metalworking, fine mechanics, CNC operating or equivalent is an advantage. Moreover, you have experience in a similar position (e.g. grinder, milling machine, turner). With the knowledge of the machines you have used in previous positions, you can quickly get to grips with our CNC grinding machines.
