Production Worker
Description
GSE Carbide has an open spot in its team as production worker. This team provides its customers with supply and grinding services of carbide rods, products and preforms. These find their way across Europe on a daily basis.
As (trainee) Production Worker you are responsible for independently programming and operating one or more (sawing) machines. You will work on varying orders with small tolerances in a clean, safe and organised sawmill. You will cut preform carbide products according to customer requirements.
Your tasks
- Cutting carbide products to specification using sawing machines;
- Independently programming and operating one or more (sawing) machines;
- Classifying the work (planning and prioritising) and acting proactively accordingly;
- Reading work instructions and interpreting these independently;
- Performing product checks by measuring them using hand tools and measuring equipment.
Your profile
- You are very precise and work carefully;
- You are flexible and always put quality first;
- You keep your workplace and the machines clean and tidy and carry out periodic minor maintenance;
- A completed education in the direction of mechanical engineering, metalworking, fine mechanics, CNC controls or equivalent is an advantage, as is experience in a similar position.
